Glittered Jingle Bells
How fun would this be to DIY with beautiful fine glitters from Martha Stewart?
I found this garland for sale at Sweet Charity last week. Oh what fun it is....

A Window Wonderland
I love Illy coffee and I'm in awe over this Barneys New York window display.
Barneys New York teamed up with the Food Network, the Cooking Channel, and Illy to deck their Madison Avenue windows in a “Have a Foodie Holiday!” theme. A papier-mâché Mario Batali head sits on a platter, while a mannequin wearing a dress made of foil coffee bags and disposable cups sports an Illy espresso machine as a headdress. Simon Doonan and his madcap team have created a campy homage to the well-known foodies of today.

Christmas Card Season
I LOVE Christmas card season. Several have arrived already in my mailbox. I love getting them, sending them, displaying them and keeping them. Our family card is going out today. YAY! (Note for next year: Square envelopes = the Monarch stamp, not exactly Christmasy. Oh well : (
For the cards I receive, I'm thinking about displaying them like this on my foyer mirror:
Or, how cute is this? Alan might use this display idea upstairs for the cards he receives:

How do you display yours?
bordered around the door?
as a sweet collage? Or in a bowl by the front door? I'll post pics soon on my display!
Christmas Shopping at Sweet Charity
I spent today at Sweet Charity in 26 Doors for cookbook week and Junior League. All profit from this little shop helps fund healthcare for low income families right here in Central Texas at the Seton Network of Hospitals. Sweet Charity employs only two full timers. Volunteers run this shop. You must check it out!
Sweet Charity is known for their seasonal metal yard art from Round Top. If we didn't have the giant Snoopy in the front yard, I would have brought home these cute reindeer and giant jingle bells.
Ohhh, how many sweet things I found. I wanted so badly to gift these for moi, but I knew Max would object to (gasp!) more dishes. The mugs come in a beautiful round box for only $44.95.
I adored these Vera Wang papers. The letterpress thank you notes are exquisite, but what about this little pack of tiny grocery notes? Only $8. How sweet!
