Vodka tonics anyone? Happy weekend!

I've been working on some really fun projects lately and wanted to share the board above my desk.

This cocktail is so good on a hot summer day.
a recent bedroom install
We started with a simple custom headboard wrapped in Schumacher's Pear Hager Texture
We used Scumacher's popular Chiang Mai Dragon in Alabaster for the euros.
The coverlet is quilted silk velvet / satin in Fawn from Bella Notte.
I love the corals in this print.
The apple green silk trellis bolster is also from Schumacher.
a touch of fluorescent
chevron kitchen backsplash
What do I love? The back splash, the wood top island and perimeter marble, that fridge, the stove, the old door... everything! This kitchen belongs in the Beverly Hills home Camille Grammer just purchased. Oh, how I hope she keeps its charm. Don't you love it too, Gina, especially that range!?
Thanks for the image Hooked on Houses.

a coffee bar, bakery, flower shop BISTRO
Hubby and I had a sweet little lunch in Houston's Flora & Muse, a flower shop, coffee bar and bistro.
grab and go flower bouquets
walk up coffee bar and bakery counter
It had me at first sight of the awnings out front.
I had the arugula, pear, blue cheese flat bread. Highly recommend. And Max ordered the egg pie baked inside of a bread boat.
Okay, how charming is this? The bill arrived tucked inside of a handwritten, leather bound journal.
Hoping they will expand to Austin soon.
my new favorite bubbly
Piper Sonoma Blanc de Blancs (all chardonnay grapes). About $16. Dry and smooth, it's my new favorite.
My Schumacher napkin is courtesy of Gina. Love how it matches the blanc de blancs bottle! Cheers!
my origami Mother's Day
For months, origami library books have been coming home and folded creations can be found all around our house. How timely that my mother's day morning was filled with my 7-year old's masterpeices. A rose (and some Vueve mimosas in bed) AND
one of a kind, handmade crane earring set inside an origami box!
Oh, how I love them and will wear them all day!
I got these lovelies too.
Wishing you and yours a fabulous day.
how to get a Massimo Vitali print for your home
Did you know that the Massimo Vitali gallery will e-mail you 1 image? It wasn't quick and you don't get to choose the image, but it finally arrived in my inbox and I felt like I won the lottery. Since I'll never be able to afford an authentic Vitali gallery piece, I'm thrilled to have this one in my home.
In my entry, this famous photograph announces that summer is here in the ATX!
I tend to do this with new things around the house that I love so much. I then moved the Vitali image and roses to the kitchen to admire while I cooked dinner.
Go HERE for the e-mail address to request your own work of art.
when the mouse is away, the cat will...
...shop, piddle and move stuff around the house.
I found these small Mexican glass candle lanterns from Anthropologie for my pool cabana mantle.
And brought them back inside before the storm. This cluster says SUMMER to me.
I fell in love with this Schumacher Raja Caravan embroidered Ikat sample that Gina let me borrow. Creme, pink, gold, mint. Totally obsessing where and how to use it.
my new Kate Spade sunglasses
cut some bougainvillea and added some happiness to our bedside tables
added a fun new printable to my foyer gallery wall from Paper Coterie HERE
baked cupcakes for the teacher's birthday with my new frosting tip Hostess with the Mostess recommended
made this jar of sunflowers for my dad who lost his beloved yellow Lab last week
took a moment to myself on the patio and caught a peek at this pretty sunset.
And my fave part of all, enjoyed his exciting soccer game.
And as you can see, I had a little fun with Instagram too.
