welcome back to Austin, Matthew McConnaughey!

Matthew and his soon-to-be Mrs. have moved their family to the Rivercrest neighborhood in a gorgeous three-story, 10,800-square foot home with 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Priced at $4M, the home is gated with 8.75 acres and has beautiful views of Lake Austin. I've heard that his airstream trailer is seen out front often. If only I was his neighbor, I would surely take up jogging to get a glimpse! Now, as far as the home design goes, I hope to see the updated interior redecoration in the pages of Austin Monthly soon!

a stunning mosaic wallcovering

Wow, oh, wow. This Schumacher ad on the back cover of the upcoming Traditional Home took my breath away. They used two Byzantium side wallpapers and two borders to create this masterpiece. Stunning.

The papers and borders used, individually, above.

It's a L O V E for me!

Warm wood floors, gray walls, luxurious Schumacher sofas, pleasing lighting variety, lots of leather, beautiful rugs...

My favorite touch: the custom black and white Old Hollywood photographic book jackets.

The cocktail table below is one of only 5 made in 1928.

This is the first year that champagne will be served to the stars in this camera-free room, just steps from the stage.

a garden stool steal

I just purchased the same stool from One Kings Lane YESTERDAY for $195. And today, Wisteria discounted this stool to $131.40!! Don't you just hate it when that happens?
